Our wish – to help individuals and small organisations living with or touched by the cruel disease of cancer. Below are some of the wonderful charities we’ve been able to support but with your kind donations we can do so much more ….. Here’s how to donate
Birmingham Children’s Hospital ❤️
Birmingham Children’s Hospital is a leading centre for paediatric medicine. We provide a full range of general and specialist services for children and young people from across the West Midlands and beyond, serving over 100,000 patients every year.
Funds from Lasting Life will be used to help makeover two important spaces on our Oncology Ward – the Quiet Room, a space primarily used by parents/carers to take a break from the bedside or meet with medical or support staff; and the Den, a play area for our patients aged 8-12. This funding will make a tremendous difference to our patients and families for years to come.

Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund ❤️
Every year, 4,200 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer, with around 1,800 under the age of 14. Sadly, of these 1,800, 240 children and young people will lose their lives to this cruel disease.
Children diagnosed with cancer often face severe mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, and behavioural issues, which impact their entire families. The emotional toll leads to strained relationships and alters family dynamics, while children can feel disconnected from peers, hindering their social development. Hospital stays and treatment disrupt education, affecting academic progress. Parents may feel isolated due to caregiving demands, limiting their social participation. Young cancer survivors also struggle with emotional issues and concerns about their future well-being. Additionally, families face financial hardships, limited support services, and healthcare inequalities, further intensifying their struggles.
For over 32 years, Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund has been a lifeline for these children across the UK. We support the entire family throughout their child’s cancer journey, from diagnosis through treatment and beyond. We recognise that every family’s experience is unique, which is why we work closely with them to ensure that they are supported in the best way possible.

Hannah’s Appeal ❤️
We were absolutely thrilled to receive such a generous donation from Lasting Life – the Simon MacCorkindale Legacy.
Words can’t fully capture how grateful we are, but please know that your support means the world to us and to the families we support. So far this year, we already have 90 families booked in for memory-making breaks at our lodges, with more enquiries coming in daily.
When a child is diagnosed with the cancer, the family dynamics are thrown into turmoil and despair, and siblings find it all very hard too.
Our special getaways give children with cancer and their families the chance to step away from the hospital environment, reconnect, and create joyful moments together. Best of all, every family stays completely free of charge in our beautiful, fully equipped lodges, surrounded by nature and with easy access to parks, woodland walks, beaches, and outdoor spaces in the New Forest, and with the children’s oncology ward just 20 minutes away, parents can relax knowing help is always close by.
Your incredible donation will help us refresh and replace many of our well-loved games and toys—adding even more joy and comfort to each family’s stay, and support many more of our special families.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, and a huge thank you from all the truly special guests who will benefit from your kindness. xxx
